Seishu cocks his head, curious about hoe distant the other guardian seems to be. [i]'He could be a million miles away with a gaze like that'[/i] When at last he seems to come back to reality the Nightmare Guardian smiles at the fact that Enasi didn't really seem to respond to his earlier teasing. He watches the other closely as he sits down in his favorite chair in the relatively well furnished room. He meets Enasi's gaze when he looks over in his direction and with a sigh Seishu settles against his pillow more firmly. [i]'I'm curious as to what he wants to tell the Little Bite. I mean, I held my tongue about it before, but if he is willing to share it all. . . I wonder what it was like for him. . . .'[/i] He listens quietly, watching his mood as he speaks.

Like a snake bite a pain lashes across Seishu's heart when Rue adds “especially for you” and yet again a deep resentment for his counterpart makes itself known deep inside him. [i]'Ah yes, because his like is nothing but smiles and joy, and all those other pleasant things, and it's just a give-in that my life is that much worse'[/i] A low growl deep within goes seemingly unnoticed beneath Rue's rambling and by the time his prattling is put to an end Enasi manages to stifle it. He even manages to pull back his energy when the little minion decides to snuggle up to him for story time. [i]'Must send for Doc after this. I can feel the pain killers slipping. I should be fine for now though. . .'[/i]

Seishu can't help but smile back at the almost blissful expression on Enasi's face when he begins talking about the dream thing. When his counterpart stops talking Seishu begins without missing a beat. Rue's head swivels around to listen better. “Beyond darkness, there simply is nothing. Then there was a feeling, a pull.” He hols his hand up and runs a finger across the Yin on his hand. Rue gazes at I with innocent wonder. “I followed the pull, and then came sound. I heard it, my own breathing, my own footsteps. Then I saw it. . .” He turns to look at Enasi with a half smile. “A little Sparkler sitting all alone in the dark, claiming that the sight of me somehow means he must be losing his mind.” He lets his gaze drop. “I didn't mind though, it was nice to hear anything at that point. . . .Though I'm sure if it was anywhere but there I would have gotten pissed, or at least had a comeback better than what I said.” Rolling his eyes he looks back to Enasi and motions that it's his turn in the narrative. Rue follows the gesture and stares at his lord happily.
