Eliza groaned as she picked him up and shook her head weakly when he waded to the water. She shut her eyes when he lowered her and then whimpered at the stink of the water on her wounds. She dug her fingers into his shoulders, pain swirling her features. She curved her head to the side, her body becoming heavier, as she could hear a soft murmur in the distance. She moved back slowly to look at Phineas, who was eyeing something in the distance. She felt heavier, as larger waves lopped around her. She kept her eyes on Phineas, until blackness took over and she fell unconcious again. Thankful for some rest.
