When after a long while Helena had finally managed to calm down, she looked up, her eyes still slightly watery and red because of the crying. "Thank you." Was all she said softly, still not getting off his lap. It felt just too good to sit there with him like that and she wanted to make the moment last longer, even if everything was fine now. Just so she could enjoy being with her friend. She didn't care if the maids would see the two of them like that and what they would think of it. They could think whatever they wanted, and always ask if they got curious about what was going on between the two, which was nothing special at the moment. Her father would be home late, so he wouldn't possibly see them like this. Not like Helena would care what her father would have to say about it. He was never around, never made time for her. He was only barely a part of her life, she only saw him maybe two hours a day. So what would give him the right to judge and boss her, while never being there for her anyway? And since her mother died because of a only a month after Leo had left, that was no option neither. So to Helena, there was absolutely nothing to worry about.
