Rose saw the dog like thing coming straight for the Doctor. She was not going to lose him just as she just got him back. Caitlyn looks in the wrong direction as Rose got the Doctor out of the way, which was simple to do since this one was skinny enough to do so. "Is that a dog of some sort? I adore dogs!"
