The sun rises, ushering in a new day.

Ben wakes up, reluctantly rolling out of his bed, and walks into the bathroom and turns on the water in the shower. As he waits for the water to heat up, he examines a long, jagged cut on his face. It starts on the left side of his forehead and stretches over his nose, ending under his right ear. He sighs, "How in the world will I explain this to anyone besides Jack or Griffin?" He shakes his head slightly before stepping into the shower. Once he's clean, he exits his dorm in the usual way before using his suit to form a pair of sunglasses to protect his eyes from the sun. He begins walking toward the cafeteria.

John wakes up with a yawn loud enough to wake the dead, then puts on some clean shorts and a shirt. After brushing his teeth and shaving, he heads to the track and begins running.

Anthony, who had spent the evening sleeping upright in his armchair, instantly opens his eyes as the clock on his phone silently declares the time to be six in the morning. He rises, cleans and grooms himself, then gets dressed. After feeding his tigers, he hops into his car and begins driving to the Academy.
