A quote from my MCpl who was my Platoon commander in basic, "Pain is weakness leaving the body." It started helping a lot when I started to believe it.

Also, for some reason, when I was struggling with the "motivational" (read punishment) PT, I kept singing the tune of the choruses of Pink Floyd's Time in my head. Sometimes it helps to latch onto something to take your mind off shit.
