WIP I'll do the rest tomorrow, when I have a better idea of how my character's magic is going to work. I have an idea, but it needs some fine tuning. Name: Jynmi Imsar Codename: Gender: Male Age: 15 Race: Human Appearance: Personality:Logical, curious, smart, tenacious, timid Likes: Working on Lemmy, sweet drinks, cold and cloudy days, rain Dislikes: Selfishness, bad use of logic, ulterior motives Fears: Loosing himself, harm to innocents Guild: Azure Dragon Rank: Guild Tattoo: On the palm of his left hand. Meaning: A place where the hope for regaining what was taken from him always grows stronger. Magic: Requip/ Lemmy Caster or Holder: Both Description: Due to some unknown circumstances, Jynmi is incapable of doing anything more than using requip spells, but he can't use them on himself, only on his "Doll" Lemmy. There's some limits to this: He must be within ten yards of the doll for this to work, and his requpi time is pretty slow. Lemmy isn't a doll though, its a gem in which Jynmi's magical power has been sealed away. It contains certain parts of his personality, and the ability to animate things, and grant various abilities based on the material, and design, of whatever part is attached to it. If the crystal becomes damaged it can recover fully, so long as a large enough shard is left. Maroon wood- The original doll that houses the gem was created from the wood of a strange reddish tree Jynmi found growing outside of the building he first woke up in. Its about as hard as aluminum, as well as extremely light weight. It grants Lemmy the strength of an average six foot tall athletic male. This wood, when in contact with the gem, grants two additional abilities. The first ability is recovery- which repairs damage. Normally this takes the same amount of time it takes a normal person to heal, but the process can be sped up, at the cost of great amounts of magical energy. However, unlike normal human beings, the wood can even regenerate entire limbs. The next ability is combustion. Since wood is such a poor conductor of energy, even magical, enough energy surging through certain point in the body, can cause a fire. Though the wood burns extremely hot, it burns at a much slower rate than regular wood. Basic limbs- The arms and legals are fully prehensile, and act like regular human arms and legs. Copper- Copper limbs are extremely heavy so they slow Lemmy down. Copper has the ability to absorb, and redirect the non-physical magics of others: lightning, fire, wind, water, ice, holy, etc, etc. Copper arm The copper arm, at first glance, appears like a regular arm, but with a Lacrima a few inches below the shoulder. Power absorbed by the hand is held within the lacrima for later use. If too much magic is placed in the crystal and it breaks, or if its at full capacity, valves at the end of the arm act as a fail safe. When the crystal cannot be used, the energy will be poured through these vents. History: If you were to ask Jynmi what his earlier life was like, he wouldn't be able to tell you, because he doesn't remember it either. The earliest memory he has is the one where he woke up to the sound of a strange voice, yelling at him for staying asleep so long and finding himself in a strange room, chained to a bed. It took some doing, but he managed to free himself. The jewel unnerved him, and he thought about leaving it behind, but a voice coming begged him not to leave it. So he took it with him, and hurried out of the building into the woods beyond. He spent some time wondering around the woods, but he was too weak to get very far before he found himself retreating back into the strange building for shelter. There he stayed, for what seemed like ages, wondering around from room to room, Jynmi feeding off whatever scraps of food he could find, searching for something that could help themescape. Eventually he found a recording device. He turned it on, and learned that he was the final subject in some strange experiment, the goal of which was to transfer a living person's entire being into any number of different "containers" so they would no longer have to worry about dying from natural causes. He also learned he was a semi-failure, but where as all of the other trials had ended with death, Jynmi ended up with the separation of part of his mind, and all of his magical power, which were all placed into the jewel. Its theorized, the voice claimed, that since the the jewel is partly a soul, a body is needed, and the soul would be able to animate a body, if one was given to it. Unfortunately, this is where the tape ended, and nothing more could be found on the subject even after a thorough sweep of the entire building. After learning of their origins, the two spent the next couple of days talking, and trying to figure out what they should do next. Eventually, it was decided a body should be built since two pairs of hands were better than only one, and it was. The theory proved true, and Lemmy was up and moving about easily before they new it. The two learned to work together, and eventually felt confident enough to try and fight their way through the woods. It took a few days, but eventually they found themselves out of the woods, entering a small village, where Jynmi quickly got a job as a carpenter, by impressing the local master with the raw talent he showed with Lemmy's design. There they stayed, and together the two gained other abilities such as blacksmithing and metallurgy. Soon though, a restlessness came about them, and the need to discover more about their past overtook them. They didn't know how to start, but they knew that they had to. One day, a man stopped to talk with them, and informed them about a nearby magic guild which was recruiting. The two thought that was a good enough place to start their journey as any other, and quickly headed off to try their hand at joining the Azure dragon guild.
