Anthony shakes his head slightly, "You're taking these things too seriously Kijani. We're not talking about life or death situations, we're talking about you not trusting your friends. If I were you, I'd let them in and enjoy the company while you can, because if you continue on the path you're on, you'll be nearly completely alone. Then, the only people that will be able to stand you are people like me." With one last smile and his eyes returning to their normal color, Anthony says, "You call me an ass, Ms. Rayne, but let's face the facts every time you storm off on your friends, who's the one that sticks around to try and lend an empathetic ear? Is it your friends? No, it's me. I may not be successful in getting you to talk to me, but at least I make an attempt to comfort you when it's obvious you need it."
