@Katherine: You're acting like your characters were surprised about the simulation. The only time they didn't know it was a simulation was during it. They knew before and after that it was a simulation. I just didn't have us RP the events leading to when they were plugged into the simulation because I wanted to surprise you guys. @Dizzy: You're almost dead on. However, he has no problem with the way he is. He sees a need for social interactions in Kijani that he himself doesn't feel. He knows that her personality is similar to his and knows that she won't be happy if she becomes any more like him. While he enjoys Sue's company immensely and he does care for her, for instance, he wouldn't be any worse off if she had rejected his advances. He doesn't feel lonely, but he knows that Kijani can.
