Crystal leaned on her bed post before eventually sliding down and being seated on the edge of her bed. A hand went to rest over her heart which might as well have burst through her chest. It hurt to know that their was an attack on her life not once, but twice... Who would want her dead? She couldn't recall ever hurting anyone in Alegasia or any of the other Kingdoms. Sure, there was that one drunken incident at the last feast, but it wasn't worth her life. Of course she always knew that being royalty had it's challenges but the kingdom... it was just so peaceful. She rarely ever stepped foot out of the Palace as herself, The Princess of Alegasia, yet someone had found a good enough reason to want her dead. It was obvious that this would not be the last of the attacks on her life, the worst was yet to come. Despite The Princess' feelings about the whole situation, the annoyance she felt at Irina's bomb took priority over anything she had been thinking before. Crystal knew she needed protection, but she had strictly told her father that there were to be no personal guards or royal attendants for her. They were daunting, overbearing, and just overprotective. It meant no alone time, and how she valued her alone time. Not only that, it made her feel uncomfortable knowing there was a stranger willing to risk their lives for her just because she was the Princess. It was one thing to save her without her permission, but to know this person was put in place as some shield for her just didn't sit well with her. However, there was no way Irina would step down after accepting such an offer from The King. Now that Sir Irina was apart of the Royal Guard, legally she could not step down without a very, very good reason. "Leave!" She shot up from her bed and placing both hands on her protector's shoulders, began pushing Irina towards her closed door. "I won't...I won't stand for this!" Crystal said sternly, continuing to push against the suit of armor standing in her room. The Princess saw her effort yielded little results, but kept on anyway, huffing and puffing while shouting about Irina signing her own death warrant.
