Jack let up on the knife and stood up holding the arrow. "I am not going to kill you." He said stepping back. "If you want to stay that's fine, but this." He held up the arrow. "Will have to stop." Jack put his knife back in its sheath on his belt, and held out his hand. "We both know that wondering around town is suicide." Jack didn't trust the young woman, but his moral code wouldn't allow him to just toss her out for such a small offense. It was a tough world and he knew what it was like to be in her position... and worse.
