Indeed! I think about it this way - if they start out from a very grim background and with a number of flaws, they'll have more obstacles to overcome, meaning more struggles nad more interesting deveopment.

It doesn't give them the right to be angsty little crybabies all time, but hey... the wolrd of mages never was portrayed as a very lovely one! I kind of expect this RP to go like bipolar disorder. From upbeat and happy to depressed in weeks :D
