Real Name: Emily Cummings Aliases: Lumineer Good or evil?: Good (Though only a crime fighter to meet a quota, allowing her to use her powers in her shows. She does have a sense of morality though, so she will likely do more than meet the quota, albeit begrudgingly.) Age: 22 Gender: Female Race: Human Appearance Normal:

Appearance Superhero/villian: Doesn't need a suit, her identity is known and if she needs a disguise she makes one as an illusion around her. Rivals or Friends: A small fanbase, but nothing major for friends. Since she only meets the minimal requirements in crime fighting to use her powers, she has few real enemies. Erebus is developing into a rival and counter to her. Powers: Can manipulate light and sound waves to create complex illusions. These illusions aren't targeted, meaning she cannot make them only appear for enemies and leave friendlies unaffected. In order to create new and realistic visuals, Emily needs to concentrate very hard, so she prefers to simply bend light, displacing things that are present or making things appear like they aren't there. If she practices an illusion often enough, she can do it fairly easily, but her gallery of of on hand illusions isn't too great yet. She can also create abstract and cartoony environments with relative easy. Sound waves are easier and she can replicate any sound she has heard. Weapons/equipments/items: When fighting crime, Emily wields a taser for incapacitating foes, a baseball bat for hand to hand and a pair of knives for lethal fights. She is not very proficient with the knives and would be easily over-powered in a straight-forward fight if she weren't hidden in her illusions. Strength: Emily is charismatic and applies her powers creatively, able to disguise herself or fade into the background entirely. She does well in undercover work and incapacitation of the enemy, making her effective in stealth missions. Preferring a sneaky approach, Emily has picked up a few skills in free-running and lock-picking in order to quickly get in and out of places. She makes a great thief as well. Weaknesses: In a straight up fight, Emily will almost always lose. She is fit, but not particularly strong and lacks any real combat ability. If an enemy is immune to electric attacks or has skin too tough for her knives to pierce she will be unable to do much of any damage. Her abilities are AOE, so anything she does to enemies, she is also doing to friends, and if the enemy uses any kind of mind-sight, she will be completely useless. She is also not a seasoned hero, so she is prone to choking up and may be unable to cope with killing, should she be forced into that situation. Finally, she's human, so like bullets and stuff. Backstory/Personality: Born into the shadows but with a passion for the spotlight, Emily has always been one to look for greener pastures. She was born in the poorer parts of New Tokyo, where her family was barely able to keep themselves under a roof and food was always scarce, quickly learning to scavenge for anything besides the bare necessities. As she grew, she honed her skills as a thief and as a performer, one to make a quick buck and the other to fill the aching need in her heart for attention. In her teen years, she joined a small anti-government group, working as a courrier to get messages in between factions without an electric trail, at which time she honed her free-running skills and got intimate knowledge of the street layout and architecture of New Tokyo. When her powers blossomed, she was forced to leave the group behind, seeing the opportunity that super powers gave to her career as a performer, and knowing that going that route would mean close surveillance and having to play nice with the feds. Within a few months she had become a fairly well known artist, known for her dazzling displays, along side upbeat tunes. Her family was no longer poor, she had achieved her goal, and all she had to do was put her life on the line a few nights a week, things were looking up.
