For the most part, broadcasters [i]do[/i] deliver the news more than adequately. That's why people continue to watch.

If news stations reported on every murder of a High School age teenager in the United States, they'd be reporting on literally nothing but murders. It's not as if this High School has been neglected by the media, either. Oprah Winfrey herself did a story on the school just a year or so ago.
