[i]Police cars rushed to the site where Starbird had been killed in. Part of the apartment was ruined by a recent explosion, so the authorities proceeded into the building with caution. After a cautious walk up the stairs, they came upon a shocking scene: the corpse of Starbird and his wife. Could this really be happening? Could somebody really have killed a metahuman known for his cosmic abilites with nothing but a bullet?! Everybody was suddenly on guard, fearing that the perpetrator might still be around somewhere watching.
The apartment area became a restricted zone in no time as the authorities blocked it off. A team of news reporters arrived as well, gaining special permission to enter to report of Starbird's death.... [/i]
