Derek smiled at Lily, "We were friends since preschool, believe it or not, i used to bully him." Derek chuckled. "We weren't really close because i used to play baseball and he used to do theater" Derek looked down, "One day one of the guys on the team spray painted Jude's car because of it, I stayed and helped Jude rub off the paint." Derek rubbed his chin. "We were best friends ever since." 

Jude looked at Red, he knew she was lying. Jude took Red's face in his hand, "He hurt you, why did you stay with him?"
