We'd think that the best way to look at uniforms would be to look at how they did it for military personnel in Atlantis. Same basic uniform, different flags on the shoulder.

We would also think that the Tok'ra and Jaffa would be free to choose whether to use uniforms or their own clothes. And we'd think scientists would mostly wear something like jumpsuits or similar shipboard. That IOA guy would probably wear a suit [b]at all times[/b].

If there's a basic, unified dress code in place for the Tau'ri crew, then that will deflate a lot of potential conflicts between people from different countries. Make them feel more part of the same team.
