The Inter-Dimensional Space (IDS), the Everything, a infinite space governed by the three universal laws and inhabited by an infinity of species, build out of Dimensions - shorter from Dimensionally Defined Unique Probability - unique possible realities which can differ between each other in anything from a single even or all the laws of physics & magic. The Post-Dimensional Society, the joint economy and culture of many countries in the IDS which are able to project their military power in any part of the known IDS, is the dominant power in the IDS with an never-ending thirst for power. Now in one corner of the IDS a mysterious device left by some ancient civilization is found on a planet under the concession of the Revenul Corporation. Without facilities and experts required to examine such artifact Revenul decides to ship off the artifact to United Corporation, their parent corporation, for study. They hastily load the device into "SS Lorgger" a Forkaw Class Transport, put it into one of the ore-filled convoys to disguise it, while at the same quickly summoning mercenaries to create an escort group for the convoy. But the Pirates of IDS will not waste a opportunity to attack such a target, even if well protected and while making its way, near the planet of Esscela the convoy is attacked and during the course of the attack the artifact on the Forkaw activates, sucking in both convoy and pirate ships far into the orbit of the still undiscovered planet of Mayy. Now Mercenary, Pirate and Mayyins alike will have their fate rewritten by this single event... Many of this ships are human in origin and a large part come from Earth-based corporation and nations resulting in names like for example "Washington class, Nebraska Class, America Class and so on." The usual pattern of naming spaceship classes is cruisers - countries; destroyers - states/regions; frigates - cities; corvettes - people; gunships - animals & plants. Battleships & carries are usually named after larger land masses like America or Tempe (from Tempe Terra on Mars). Pirates on the other hands have many unique, custom build starships, many even not of much combat use. There are still a few notable classes like the Cutlass Class Raiding Cruiser, the Pirate Class Raiding Destroyer, the Raider Class Raiding Vessel (frigate sized) and the Cloak MP Strike Craft. Pirate vessels of all types exceed at using stealth. [b]About some of the stuff in the sheet.[/b] [i]Weapon classification.[/i] Strategic are weapons designed to attack larger orbital structures and planets. Capital weapons are designed to be effective against larger ships and all kinds of orbital structures. Tactical are designed to engage smaller, quicker starships and have some effect against larger targets and strike craft as well. Anti-strike craft weapons are designed to take on Strike Crafts, fighters, bomber & torpedo bombers trough they are also quite good against smaller gunships. Most arrays are Tactical or Anti-Strike Craft Weapons. Torpedoes - guided ammunition fired from tubes used as strategic, capital or tactical weaponry. SPARROW - in all sizes and varieties the SPARROW are missiles with an almost perfect guiding system used in all roles. from bombarding planets to killing humans. SPARROW is a invention of UC. Omega Uplink – A device which generates a dimensional passage which allows the UC’s Omega Cannon to fire trough it, bringing its devastating power to the battlefield. [i]Armor & Shielding[/i] - Armor in IDS military starships is usually build with a Power Metalum (magically treated Ancient Metalum) layer on the outside a few Ancient Metalum (a strong metal which requires too much energy to be efficiently replicated so it is mined) layers bellow that all with numerous femtobot (robots on the femtometric scale) repairing layers. Shields are Magi-Tech constructs which can have between a few thousands to just a half a dozen of layers. [i]Turning[/i] - To be expressed by X/10 in which X is any number from 1.0 to 10.0 (one decimal point score). The bigger the ship the slower the turning! [i]Power[/i]- Most power on IDS ships is provided through a series of reaction which use the energy and radiation from matter-antimatter annihilation to do a step by step procedure whit the help of Magic to create a reaction between Energy and Anti-Energy and the collect the resulting Magic to gain power. Pure matter-antimatter annihilation is still used for secondary power and fusion usually provides the auxiliary needs together with Magi-Tech batteries.
