Again I feel like such a fussy body, but there would actually have been plenty of magic among the different species initially. It would have been tiny, almost tribal like and curses would certainly play a part. It is just how I see it fitting in,

Of course if ye guys do really want it to be direct-god-related thing I am flexible. Just trying to establish a happy medium between letting you guys make anything, and the integrity of the plot I have cooking, that i hope you all will enjoy :sun
