"When you stare into the abyss, the abyss stares into you." Those who commit evil, become evil. Even if they believe their cause is just, murder corrupts. You'll justify it, and you'll grow used to it, and once murder is an easy thing, why not murder anyone who gets in your way? People who come back from wars are driven insane by the people they've killed there. They're scarred for life. A man who murders again and again will end up as nothing more than a psychotic serial killer.
