Toothless snorted and shook his head at the dragoness’ foolishness because Hiccup had made some great strides but in the big picture this almost all had seemed to be shoved upon him at once. He was the only human that saw there was more to dragons than killing and he changed his entire tribe’s thinking… but it had taken him days to grasp things, a slow crawling process. Not seconds. For some stupid reason this dragoness just thought he’d just be okay with this? Something that was completely new to him. Toothless decided that his human could use some comfort and moved forward, wrapping his tail around Hiccup as he lowered his head and the boy wrapped his arms around his neck. “Toothless… is all that true…” What could he do but gurgle in response? He had heard legends but that was all they were these days, he flicked his gaze sideways to the other dragon before nudging into Hiccup. He didn’t want him to fret like this though… he had seemed to calm some, his breathing more even and Toothless knew he was finally considering the possibility. So he straightened up on his hind legs, bringing Hiccup to his feet. “If anyone else knew about this…” Hiccup looked about their surroundings with worry but saw no one. He took a step towards the dragon. “I’m sorry… I just didn’t think…” He shook his head. “Dragons and Vikings had been enemies for so long its strange that one could be both…” He reached out to rub her scales with an apology. “Please don’t do that again though… not in the village. They finally have gotten use to having dragons around and if they see this. They might not treat them the same.”
