Bear in mind that the gods will probably have to be shapeless, or at most, intangible and invisible. As for names, with no point of reference (we are the first multicellular life), they may be somewhat restricted to concepts... The Creeping Growth, The Artist of Chaos, or so on. Everything's malleable at this point though, so if you have suggestions I am glad to hear them.

One last thing: No sapience/human-like consciousness and intelligence. The moment a species becomes sapient it is probably going to be game over for the other gods. Consider the changes humans have induced in a geological bat of an eyelid. Your species CAN take inspiration from human inventions though... If we ever accidentally build up huge supplies of subterrainean coal, why not vast underground organisms that feast on it? That would be cool! Or flying organisms that remain airborne thanks to airfoils and jet propulsion, or something.
