Henry and his Bulbasaur had done fair share of walking and fighting already. Bulbasaur wasn't very brave and often wanted attention rather then to fight, so Henry said that each fight it won would mean more time out of the pokeball, something that seemed to motivate. Bulbasaur wasn't really happy about close contact so often a match ended with just leech seeding and absorbing from a safe distance, slowly draining what ever they ended up fighting for hp. However on his way to Viridian City he had seen other trainers and one stuck out or rather the pokemon stuck out. The mans Bulbasaur seemed more like a wild-beast the a pokemon, so Henry had made a mental not to stay as far away from that thing as he could. He didn't want Bulbasaur to be the next victim of that monster. As he was about to leave route 1 he noticed something in the corner of his eye, a tiny flash of red and yellow. He went over to where he had seen it and was meet by getting silk spun all over his face. He quickly got it away from his face and saw what it was. Deep inside the bush a small Spinarak was hidding and clearly not happy to see Henry. Henry tried to just throw a pokeball at it in the hopes he didn't have to hurt the thing, but Spinarak was having non of it. Henry turned his gaze to Bulbasaur and told it to do the normal combo. Soon the spider was down for the taking and joined Henry's team.
