The proposal works for me.
Excellent. Here's Tommy's character sheet in that case.
Name: Tommy Callahan. Age: 47. Gender: Male. Day Job: Max Lowrey's lackey. Bio: Thomas Callahan was born and bred in Dublin, Ireland. He was the eldest son of two very proud parents, and a brother to three. As a teenager he started out selling fake IDs and his brother's Asperger's medication. He got a thrill from breaking the law, so his criminal activity shot up as a teenager. He stole cars, went joyriding, took part in street races, dealt and used meth, committed arson and caused grievous bodily harm while drunk or high. By the time he was twenty years old his parents had disowned him and he owned an apartment in the city. Around this time he met an American tourist named Angela and the two became lovers. He followed her back to Kansas City and immediately became a part of the vast criminal underworld there. Angela's pregnancy was a surprise to them both, and while she welcomed it, Tommy was apprehensive about bringing a child into the world he made for himself and Angela. But, loyal to family, he married Angela. Then Beth was born and Tommy couldn't take the swift change in his life. He grabbed his stuff and ran. It was this nagging feeling of cowardice and guilt that has kept him coming back to his wife and daughter every once in a while. He created enough of a name for himself that mob bosses took notice. For a time he worked a cage fighting ring for Harry Keegan, the head of a small organisation that dealt in drugs, theft and anything else that would earn them money. Tommy made his way slowly to the top of Keegan's list of favourites. Unfortunately, Keegan's biggest rival, Javier Gonzales, destroyed the organisation, consumed its various businesses and took on what remained of its members. He hid with Angela and his then six year old daughter for a while, and bonded with the child. Shortly before her seventh birthday, he left them again. He took up a position with another of Gonzales' rivals and fell right back into the underground. A while later, he shot and killed a high-ranking member of the crew and, with no other option, fled to Gonzales for help. Gonzales agreed to protect Tommy as long as he provided Gonzales with information on his rivals and joined his crew. With Tommy's information, Gonzales consumed another gang and grew in power and influence. Tommy worked for Gonzales for many years, visiting his wife and daughter from time to time, until he asked Gonzales for a sizeable loan – with which he bought several properties – and couldn't earn the money back. He fled again, hiding with Angela and Beth, then in her early twenties, and frequented Fiddler's Green for updates on Gonzales. When he heard Max Lowrey had taken over, he thought he could come out of hiding. He was wrong, of course.
