He created 2 things with his remaining strength, first, Humanity, and then, The infinite, a projection of the Creators sanity and Order. What was left was a husk, a being that knew not of its godliness, it was nearly a demon. it had power (which faded, unless it destroyed), but it didn't care, it only had an insatiable want for destruction.This creature was the Ancient. The combined power of the 3 other gods locked the Ancient away, in a tomb in which he would forever stay, unbeknownst to them, the tomb was actually our world. And so, the Ancient now resides here, destroying all we hold dear, for its own amusement, it does not care about anything except destruction, and so, it will destroy.
