[Hider=Character][CENTER] Name: Keiri Annalee Caverly Alias: Saevitia Age: Fifteen Gender: Female Abilities/Skills: Dancing: Keiri has practiced dancing for many years, and finds it a grest outlet. While she has never competed in it, its quite obvious that she could win compeitions with ease, as she is exceptionally skilled at it. It has helped her to gain great balance and grace. She can do ballet, tap, contemporary, and modern. Streetfighting: Keiri knows the basics of streetfighting, and can manage her own in a fight. Although most find her way of fighting "dirty", it helped her survive and she takes pride in that fact. Powers: Feral Mind: Also known as primal rage. Keiri is able to tap into a primal, unstoppable rage that allows her to perform in vastly increased capacity, taking and inflicting damage that she wouldn't be able to in her normal state. Keiri does not have much control of this, which means she can't call upon it when she wants. It has a bad price to pay, because it takes up all her energy and can leave her unconscious and badly hurt. It only activates when Keiri loses control of her own emotions or when she's on the brink of death. In the latter case, it can vause death if she doesn't have the energy for it or if she's already injured badly enough. Onychokinesis: Keiri has complete control over her nails, making her able to alter them any way she pleases. She can manipulate the shape, growth, density (to make them more durable or easier to break), sharpness, or remove or enhance her cuticles. This power she has basic control over, and is able to what's mentioned above with it. As time progresses, she'll learn how to make projectiles with it and other techniques. ★Claw Retraction: In later time, Keiri's Onychokinesis skills will open up the ability for her to learn how to create/use claw protrusion. She'll be able to protrude and retract claws through her hands that are made of bone and layered with keratin. ( I'll add more to this later when she learns it. ) Enhanced Agility: User with this ability can go from one motion to another effortlessly, effectively dodge attacks, swing from things easily, sprint, do back-flips and numerous other gymnastic, athletic and martial implements with little effort. Agility is "the ability to rapidly respond or change by adapting its initial stable configuration", the ability to change the body's position efficiently, and requires the integration of isolated movement skills using a combination of balance, bodily coordination, speed, reflexes, flexibility, strength and endurance. Enhanced Durability: The user's physical durability (ability to endure/resist damage) is extremely high, allowing them to take numerous blows of internal or external assaults before succumbing to the effects. (Keiri's durability will grow through the roleplay, for now its only moderately higher than normal.) Weaknesses: Emotions: Keiri lets her emotions and pride get in the way too often. It clouds her judgement and decision making and usually puts her in danger. She gets herself into trouble and gets hurt much of the time because of it. Lack of motivation/responsibility/insecurity: Keiri gives up on a lot of things like school work or video games, etc, easily. People view her lazy because of it, but it has more to do with a deep rooted feeling of not being adequate enough to get the job done right. She doubts herself and this makes her give up and underestimate herself. Recklessness: Keiri pushes herself way too hard, way too often. It leaves her exhausted and she ends up hurting herself, although she won't admit it. She keeps trying to make herself better without noticing that she's actually making it worse. Eventually, if she keeps up with stressing her body out like this, she could permanently damage her body or powers. Equipment: {Items, weapons, etc. Stuff your character carries like all the time. Don’t get lethal on my. Or at least fight in the nonlethal way.} Relationship: Single Personality: With a loud mouth and short temper, Keiri can be quite agressive and mouthy. She has a tendency of saying things she doesnst mean and letting her emotions control her actions. She lacks the ability to think with her heard and normally acts with her heart, usually ending with her getting into trouble. Due to her past, she's very self reliant and idependant which makes her hate having to be helped by others. To the point where Keiri usually refuses help even when it means bitter consequences. Most who meet her get the first impression of a rude and reckless little girl, but despite her many negative quirks she has some positives. Like her dead loyalty to those she deems worthy of it or her sweet, endearing side to those she calls her friends. She's willing to die for a friend and throw an enemy under a bus, and will do anything in her power to right a wrong done ro herself or another she holds close. Keiri has her bad side(which is way more prominent) but she also has her good side. History: Keiri never knew her real parents. All she could associate them with was vague feeling of disgust and abandonment. Which made her never dwell on the subject of her birth parents for too long. As far as she can remeber, Keiri only knew the harsh and sometimes cruel enviroment of an orphanage. Dont get it wrong, Keiri was like many of the other kids there. She had some friends and some hope of being adopted. That hope slowly began to dwindle as time passed and other kids were adopted while she was left alone. No one was sure if it was the fact that every interview she had with a family ended with rejection or if constantly losing and making new friends before losing them again was what began to make her more loathsome of the world. By the age of 9, she gave up on the idea of having a family. It made her lose her childhood innocence and she began to grow up, become much more of a realist than what would be expected from a little girl. Two years later, age eleven. Keiri began to notice some changes. They weren't that obvious, but enough for her to notice. While other kids were beginning to grow into their awkward preteen phase, Keiri still maintained a certain grace and balance to herself. Not to mention the fact that where other kids her age were physically challenged to push themselves a lot, Keiri could easily breeze through a mile run or climb up onto the highest tree with ease. Her temper had gotten...noticeably worse. She would snap at the slightest irritation or throw a tantrum at anything she couldn't manage. Others noticed as well, but it just seemed easy to dismiss. Three years later, they learned that Keiri was definitely different. It was like any other day, Keiri was off talking to some friends. Another girl, much biggerthan little Keiri, decided to start a little trouble. Thinking it would be funny to see how Keiri's friend would react to a worm down her blouse, they tormented the poor girl. Overcome with anger at the treatment of her friend, Keiri marched over to the bully. A few choice words summed up her opinion of what a lowlife piece of " shit " the bully was. To put it simply, she wasn't too keen on Keiri's opinion. Before Keiri knew it, the bully had shoved her and she was stumbling to keep her balance. And that's where she completely lost it. Keiri herself never could remeber what happened, but based on the looks that all the other children gave her, it was something serious. Blood stained her clothes and she could tell it wasn't just hers. One of the adults had her on the ground, her arms pinned behind her back. All Keiri could do was cry and scream, a deep sense of fear in her stomach. Behind her, she could hear the bully moaning in pain. Several days of self loathing and lonlieness later, she was shipped off to Xavier's School. She can speak some rough mandarin and broken up japanese. ♦Etiquette: Being raised as she was, Citali is what higher social standing people who refer to as socially talented. If she wanted to, she could turn on the charm like that. She speaks and acts like the young lady that she is...well, for the most part. ♦Persuasive: Citali can be quite persuasive when she wants, and has a habit of getting her way because of this. ♦Intelligent: Citali is very booksmart, and cruises by in school with easy straight A's. She can figure ot puzzles and riddles relatively fast and has a high IQ. Powers: Psionic Blast: The user can project harmful psionic volleys, which may result in brain damage, memory loss, unconsciousness, vegetative state or even death. The victim is not physically harmed, but damages the internal mentality of a target. Citali's power over this ability is rather weak, and she can only send out weak blasts to the victim. If she's panicked or afraid, she can send out bigger and more destructive blasts, although not of her own accord. Enhanced Intelligence: The user has intelligence that is significantly above standard genius level intellect. One is gifted with higher mental faculties such as a more powerful memory, better calculation skills, greater reasoning skills, and a more superior learning capacity. At this stage, an individual can often come up with unique and original ideas that elevates the thinking of humanity to new levels. Telepathic Communication: Citali can open a subconscious link between her and other people, allowing her to send messages or " talk " inside another person's mind. Its something that she has mastered over time, although she doesn't use it near as often as she used to. ★Telekinesis: ( Will develop later on. ) ♦Pride: Her own pride gets in the way of her decisions sometimes. Due to he fact that she voices herself higher than most other people, she has a tendency to try and uphold that repuation. ♦Power Drainage: Her powers put a serious strain on her everytime she uses them because of the fact that they cost so much energy. Overuse of them can leave her unconscious or in almost a drunken state where she has a hard time identifying who or what things are, loses balance, and is just generally weakened. Whenever she does wake up, she'll be nauseous and have a hard time gaining her senses again. Equipment: {Items, weapons, etc. Stuff your character carries like all the time. Don’t get lethal on my. Or at least fight in the nonlethal way.} Relationship: Single. Personality: At first glance, Citali seems just like what she is. Calm, cool, and calculative. She's a girl of few words, most consider aloof. Which she is. Its obvious she doesn't hold a desire for social interaction with anybody, viewing herself on a higher plane than them, because of her wealthy background. Although Citali finds herself too lady-like to use vulgar language, it doesn't mean she doesn't come up with other ways of showing her disdain and disapproval. Its often that she'll make a quip or jab at another student, especially ones who are loud and obnoxious. She has a cynical outlook on the world, believing that mutants will never be welcomed into the world. It shows in the way she speaks about them, almost as if she isn't one herself. Her passionate hatred for both humans and mutants alike is obvious, although shes one herself. Citali is a no non sense person. If you manage to earn her respect though, her attitude towards you could completely change. She becomes slightly more warm and welcoming, and may even grace you with a smile. The only person she does hold in high regard though is Professor Xavier. History: A life of wealth and ease was what Citali started in the world with. Her father was considered to be one of the welathiest people in Northern America. As a the first child in her family, Citali was already held in high esteem and given much anything she wanted. At the age of five, Citali proved to be exceptionally gifted. By the age of nine, she could read college text books and solve 11th grade math problems. Her parents were astounded by her educational prowess, but as timed pass, it began to become a problem. Citali would openly challenge her father and mother's decisions about how to run their company or parent their own child. It was starting to become a nuisance as Citali started viewing herself more knowledgable than them. It didn't help that her parents never made much of a relationship with their daughter, dumping her off with her tutors and nannies when they tired of her company. Citali began to turn into a problem child, constantly defying her parents and becoming destructive. Something else, rather strange began to occur as well. During an argument, Citali's voice seemed to not only shriel through the room but also in anyone in the proximity's mind. As well as intense migraines. Her father decided that maybe they should get her examined. After many different tests, Citali's parents uncovered the fact that she wasn't just a problem child. She was a mutant. Without a moment's hesitation, she was sent off and no longer their problem.
