((Very Sloppy it is.)) As the helicopters took off, the huey carrying the nearly dead sniper a thunk followed seconds later by a whistle sounded the area. Before they knew it, explosions started happening all around and the entire force scrambled out of the open towards whatever ditch they could find. "Everyone down!" One man shouted which was the last thing heard before the explosions pretty much obliterated any chance to communicate properly during the barrage. The FBI squad seemed more equipped for this situation, wearing headphones that were usually worn to block out gunfire in close quarters. It was a blessing to have those right about now. Gerard took Harris out of the LZ the bombardment occurred, in the middle of talking about the situation itself, what there is to expect and what the problems might be. When the bombardment initiated the two quickly turned and started back towards the LZ, both the agents and the Ark team being met by a beaten up LZ with a few dead men. One of the surviving soldiers, carrying the captain insignia, quickly assessed the situation and formed up an idea once he realized the losses were significant. It was time to call in some help from the ocean. "Where's our Forward Observer?!" The captain called out, stepping over a knocked down tree that was caused from the explosion. One soldier gave him his answer; the FO was dead. That meant only one thing... The captain himself had to mark out the coordinates. It wasn't something he wasn't prepared for though and he quickly adapted to the situation, climbing up a tree and taking out a range finder and GPS after finding one of the highest branches that could hold him. After he was in position he could only wait for the smoke to settle, and race against Fallen Shadow's spotters before they could spot him and deal with him.
