Naturally, he doesn't weigh all that much being at approximate 55kg/121lbs and retains a light skin complexion with relatively short, purplish-blue hair that matches his eyes. He's rarely seen outside of his blackish-blue gakuran or white undershirt. This extends even to his work with the Order, as his suit is modelled after the clothing choice in question, though with a different looking collar, one with a white trim rather than the traditional solid color scheme. His badge is worn on top of his armband labeling him as Vice-Captain of the Archery Club. [/hider] [hider=Biography] Naoto was born and raised as a native of Kaidan. His father was the head of Kaidan Shrine, a mountain temple-shrine located on the outskirts of Kaidan. As a child, Naoto was rather timid and could never own up to his mistakes. He would blame it on a visitor, an animal, his siblings, always someone else, but he always felt bad about it. He really wanted to tell the truth and attempted to do so when his timid, juvenile self would allow him to. And he got better about it as time went on, going from a timid, dishonest kid to a confident and honest one. Then his dad died and his mother became too busy between managing the shrine and taking care of him and his siblings. With the two people who made him feel bad for lying, and who always told him to be honest and true to himself, gone, there was no longer anything keeping his lying in check. No reason to [i]not[/i] lie. This, compounded with several other factors, finally drove Naoto into downward spiral back to his old ways. After that, he never felt guilty for his dishonesty ever again. In fact, he embraced it despite getting beat up every other day for some comment he'd make to the wrong person, but that was fine with him, at least he wasn't getting beat up for telling people the brutal truth like before. Naoto actually managed to live rather normally, behavioral issues aside. He managed to temporarily seize control of the Archery Club, but was demoted to Vice-Captain despite his skill after being declared unfit for that particular duty, for obvious reasons. Naoto received his black letter at unusual age 12, during the middle of his 1st year of junior high school. Naturally being as young as he was, he had to try it out to see if it was legit or not. He followed the odd, shady instructions to the city's industrial district, and set his letter ablaze. His training was unusually long, though given his unusual youth it should have been a given, and eventually became a full-fledged member of the Order in Black at 16. [/hider] [center][u][b]Combat Information[/b][/u][/center] [b]Strength(s):[/b] Soul Power; Guile; Unpredictability; Accuracy; Endurance [hider=Details] [i]Soul Power[/i] - If there's one thing Naoto has going for him other than his ability to use his head, it's the sheer amount of energy reserves his soul can burn off without keeping him out of the fight. Unfortunately his badge somewhat restricts his ability to go all out like he would likely do if given the chance. [i]Guile[/i] - A danger-avoidance, 'combat logic' skill that uses knowledge of a scenario as the basis to predict the opponent’s activity and change the current situation. The ability to read attacks and counterattacks several moves ahead to make split-second plans in order to prolong his own survival or manipulate situations using underhanded means. [i]Unpredictability[/i] - Some have strength, some have speed, and some think so differently that attempting to guess their next move or tactics doesn't work out very well. [i]Accuracy[/i] - He's the Vice-Captain of the Archery Club. I'd hate to wonder what the Archery Club would be like if he wasn't an accurate shot. [i]Endurance[/i] - Different from durability, this is his ability to withstand pain. Due to his constant beatings at the hands of his peers, Naoto has built up a rather substantial pain tolerance. However, this is a double-edged sword, as you will later see. [/hider] [b]Weakness(es):[/b] Strength; Durability; Trustworthiness; Recklessness; [hider=Details][i]Strength[/i] - Contrary to what media says, muscles are not meaningless. Naturally, this means with a build like his, Naoto is pathetically strong. [i]Durability[/i] - Like the above, but not pathetic, just very mediocre. [i]Trustworthiness[/i] - Would you trust the compulsive liar even if he's promising he's telling the truth? This makes him a liability when it comes to working with information, as well as general group work, among other things. [i]Recklessness[/i] - The other side of his 'Endurance'. Because he can withstand pain, Naoto rarely pays any thought to potential dangers and doesn't know when to hold and when to fold. A sigil allows the user to manifest a ring (smaller than seen in the image) that expands into orb roughly to the size of a track and field shot anywhere within 1 meter of the user. The orb can then generate the 'head' of any weapon of any size or shape from it, whether that be a conventional spear head, an oddly shaped sword blade, or a war-hammer head. So on, so forth, though it can only generate one 'head' per orb. Despite seeming quite a complex process, the whole thing takes mere seconds to complete, assuming Naoto knows what weapon he's planning on using. In the case of the user not knowing what 'head' to create, it just remains an orb. After creation, the orbs can be used to attack in two ways: 1) as melee weapons by using the orbs as hilts, or 2) as subsonic ranged weapons by firing the orbs as bullets or as sports balls, depending on preference. When not being used, they can be held in hand or float anywhere within the meter where the creation sigils can be manifested. One can also store and release soul energy within them, but Naoto can only do this to six pairs before losing his energy and going back to reality. The storing of soul energy takes about 5-10 seconds, depending on how much power needs to be packed in. Incidentally, orbs that haven't been detonated or destroyed remain in the world for as long as their creator is active, but are no longer under Naoto's control. [u]Strengths and Weaknesses[/u] +Multiple Ranges - Can be fired for long range attacks or used in melee with the orbs as handles, though much less effective at close range +Adaptability - It can create the attacking portion of basically any weapon. If you can't slash, you stab. If you can't stab, you bludgeon. If you can't do any? You blow them up. -Close Quarters Combat - Due to lack of conventional hilts, they aren't exactly easy to wield in melee -Defense - There's obviously a distinct lack of defensive ability in a weapon designed to create weapons.
