Phoebe was curious as to what the girl had suggested. She remember that the girl hadn't been talking at all, and had generally been using sign language to communicate. Was the girl mute? Phoebe shifted to read the note. 

She decided not to speak just yet, trying to remember the sign kanguage she knew, which wasn't much.
