The captain kept to his branch as rounds came coming down once again, the rangefinder giving him the distance so he could quickly put the calculations into his GPS. The barrage wasn't as deadly as the first one since they moved, but it did make it nearly impossible to regroup without a healthy line of communication. This DevGRU operative had the answer. "Crossroads! This is Alpha 1 requesting fire mission on 168 085! Four round sequence, 1 click kill zone, fire for effect!" The captain shouted into his headset, keeping his head down in the branches as the remaining soldiers waited for their request to go through. To the plain eye the LZ looked deserted, the teams were scattered and had no way to reorganize until their barrage made contact. U.S.S GETTYSBURG, AIRCRAFT BATTLE GROUP ESCORT The control room was quiet as a rather aged man stood in the middle of the bridge, his eyes looking ahead at the vast ocean before them. Everything was quiet for the cruiser, unusually quiet since they deployed those three helicopters to some unknown location. The quiet was broken when a petty officer barged into the room, running a slip of paper over to the man. "Captain! This is urgent, fire mission requested by ground forces!" The seaman said, panting between each word. They exchanged salutes when the captain took the slip and thanked the man, his eyes shifting ahead once again. "Gentlemen, you are clear to launch." The captain said, crossing his arms and shifting the cap on his head to a more straight position, the cap labeled U.S NAVY. The coordinates were put in and within minutes the cruiser launched a series of missiles. Only about four of them left their pods but they will be devastating when they reach those coordinates given to them.
