As Shinji was working on the large stacks of paperwork a knock came at his door which made him look up then place down his quill and sit back in his chair and speak "you may enter" it seemed people were visiting here more often which was good...he didn't want people to feel intimidated by his position...at least not on the day to day basis but of course when battle came then it'd be a case of showing more respect so he had to balance this out...if he became to cozy and laid back they may take him for a fool but if he sat in the middle sending mixed signals he had a higher chance of them showing respect for his presence in general and not just on the battlefield
