[hider=The Beginning of the End]Upon receiving the same treatment as the prince had, Isaac understood why the prince had needed to be bailed out. Unfortunately for himself, he had been even more reckless as there was now a third attack in the mix in the form of a woman's axe. Too weak from his injuries to bring up his sword to parry the blow or dodge, the axe hit it's mark rendering him unconscious. However, before he could even hit the ground, Iris, in a remarkable show of strength, grabbed the collar of his shirt and pulled him up onto her pegasus before wordlessly handing him to Destero once she confirmed Isaac still had a pulse.

Destero nearly collapsed from a combination of surprise from suddenly being handed Isaac and his own injuries. After setting Isaac down, Destero pulled out his vulnerary and began to apply first aid to Isaac and himself, a slightly panicked look on his face. He wouldn't be giving orders anytime soon. Dain, on the other hand had a intimidating glare on his face. "It's time time to end this farce," was all he said, giving Anne and Iris a quick, subtle nod. Like Isaac had been just a few seconds ago, Iris lifted Dain onto her pegasus with little help from the man himself. Once he was up, Iris flew over to Ayuna where Dain quickly lept off her pegasus and sent a ball of darkness at the crossbow wielding girl. "Now!" he yelled as he finished his spells.

Upon hearing Dain's shout Destero looked up from treating Isaac to see a wounded crossbow wielding woman. Quickly catching the meaning behind Dain's shout Destero mustered all his strength and got within throwing distance of the girl before hurling one of his javelins over Naiyo's head at at Ayuna. Once he'd done that he realized just how open to attack that had made him. Rather than go down quietly like Isaac, Destero put on his best "I win" smile and said to the woman's companions, "although you may strike me down, I at least know I was not the first leader to fall."

Anne readied her heal staff for when Destero got his ass kicked. [i]So much for a fall humbling the prince...[/i][/hider]
