Haruhi Suzumori Team 14 Mission 1 Everything was happening so fast that Haruhi had to forget about her doubts in herself and remember everything she had learned at the academy, however, that was a bit easier said than done. As she listened to the orders of her sensei and hid, lying in wait, her mind and heart raced. She had never killed anyone before...but she had to make her decision now. Kill, or be killed. Get rid of the bandits or risk the lives of others who they would attack later on. Well who am i to decide whos life is worth more? I mean...sure their bad guys but...i couldnt even kill a bug if someone asked me to...how can i be expected to break bone? so here she was again, caught between her belifs that all life is precious and her wanting to protect the lives of those she cares about....and being loyal to her villiage, her sensei, and her team. With a small sigh she thought about her team. Minori-chan and Rai-kun wouldn't care what choice she made here. It was clear they could handle themselves in a situation like this. They probably wouldn't even need her help. She was sure any attempt to try to impress them, or try not to seem weak in their eyes was going to be in vain. In truth, she didnt care wether they thought she was weak or not really. In the end, she couldn't do it for them. Still watching her sensei, she saw her teacher dash off and began to be persued by a large handful of bandits. Her sensei seemed to be just like her other teammates. She just looks...fowl. Always with that frown on her face. Like it would kill her to smile. Haru thought silently. Although her sensei was here to help turn the three of them into better shinobi, Haru had a feeling that trying to impress her was going to be impossible. ....So where did that leave her? She had no other real reason to take out these bandits other than it being her "orders" and boy did she hate that word. She had to keep her room in "order" she had to put her shoes at the door in the proper "order" and now she had to "FOLLOW ORDERS"? Her defiant nature made her scowl with the thought of having someone boss her around just because they could. No, she couldnt do it for that reason either. A reason to take anothers life had to mean more to her than that. It had to be selfish. It had to be because she knew it would benefit her. This was all about becoming stronger. Being a better shinobi than she was now. Maybe if she told herself that for this reason she had to kill....may she could do it. That was when she saw Hayashi-sensei raise her hand. Now was the time to act. During this time she had her hand clasped tightly with that of a shadow clone she had made upon finding a good hiding space. Her chakra swirled around their hands and binded together, making a rope of sorts made of lightning. She was preparing a technique she had only practiced on rabbits and trees, but she was confident it would work. She could prabably get two or three of those bandits caught in it at the most, seeing as she was still trying to perfect the technique. It was to her understanding that with more practice she could eventually learn to slice through objects with this, but she was a long ways away from that kind of power. For now, she could simply bind. So, she waited until her sensei's hand clenched into a fist, then she sprung forward. Her hand seperated from her clones and a line of lightning, about rope thick, spread out between them. "Lightning Cable Jutsu." she said as she ran in a circle around the bandits. It was no surprise to her a few of them leapt away and escaped the range of her jutsu, but she did manage to grasp three in her efforts. Haru connected opposite hands with her clone and it turned to cover her back as she held the three of the bandits with both hands. Their movements were now restricted and this was a chance for one of her teammates or her sensei to do what they pleased with them. She couldn't help but smile. "Time to dance."
