It is everything. If he were to fight Goliath (a bear), he would be at a disadvantage. From what I know, bears (like dogs) have extra skin as protection. So when you bite it, it slides and bunches, taking away damage from the muscle below. So Goliath could take more hits than Cassius.

Also, I guess its better to call it "loose skin"
