They are used as mounts for hunters and as life long companions. It does not have armor, the plating on the head is an extension of their antlers. These canines have been companions to the wood elves for centuries. They are trained from cubs to hunt with them. The Alfort must be three years old before being trained for riding and will only allow one rider their entire lives. The Alfort follow the Grawlv from over the mountains into the forest.

This is the Grawlv. They are the main food source of the elves during the rutting season. Its antlers have flowers and herbs growing on them. There is a shrine dedicated to the Grawlv where the river enters the mountains.

This is a Tryph. Yes its based on a dolphin... I'm not the best at drawing them. A rare fish that is sometimes seen swimming in the river. Not much is currently known about them.

Lexon is a small wild feline that prowls the trees and mountains. They are well liked among the elves for keeping the plant destroying rodents away from their gardens. Some species are known to grow to the size of a young Alfort cub.

Is a lion. This fearsome beast is the only known large predator that stays in the forest year round. They often attack travelers but seldom kill them.

Is a Rabbit. Feisty critters that like to chew on elven huts and trees. Most elves find them too cute to kill or eat and as such are currently overpopulated. The forest dwelling variety can get large enough for small children to ride on. Children also often keep them as pets until they get too large to keep and release them into the forest. Most however become fond of the elves and take to defending the gardens they once raided.

Is a leafy sea dragon. A common sight in the river. Its said to be good luck if one kisses you.

Is a water moccasin. this poisonous snake is the reason the elves don't test the myth of the Alega. One bite is enough to kill an adult and it considered the most dangerous creature in the water.

Is a blue jay. Sort of. A pretty red bird that frolics away the day. There is nothing special about it.

Is a collared falcon. Eats Freyar and Usumae. This bird is extremely wild and it takes a patient person to tame it.
THERE ARE HAWKS/FALCONS AVAILABLE! You may take falconry as a skill!
