Hi guys, you've probably been asked this a lot; Where can I find a good avatar/portrait generator for fantasy characters online (Either to DL or use online)?
I know about Hero Machine (Don't really like it much as it's too comic-book like and it doesn't have much for high fantasy - concentrating more on the marvel/DC characters) and then there's the ubisoft generator (that has bugger all selections)
The best i've found is one on www.rinmarugames.com that you're able to do lots with (But is limited when it comes to male characters) It is a dress up game that allows you to change every aspect of your character portrait from eye and hair colour to the colour of the clothes/armour.
If I could find something like that for male characters I'd be all over it. (Why is it most dress up games are for girls? :P)
I don't mind paying for the creator, but I want to know that what I'm getting is what I'm after. There are too many out there that say they do this but in actuality, don't.
Any help would be great.
This is mainly for generating pictures of characters for stories that I'm writing (Always helps to have a visual reference when you're writing and I can't draw well enough in my mind to get the job done)
