Superman stayed still, letting the vines wrap around him, and a shield form in front of her. “Impressive offense and defense, that’s a good tactic,” he spoke, as he effortlessly broke through the vines. The distance between Phoebe and Clark were noticeable, even in the small room. 

So he devised a plan to help Phoebe think on the spot. “But you need to be able to think on the spot, adapt almost immediately,” he spoke, [b]as he started to walk towards her, hoping to entice her to do something quickly and effectively. [/b] His huge frame and potential strength was menacing, but not impossible to overcome. Students need to be determined and smart, to know that anything is possible. 

Nonchalantly, he also queried “Can you do anything else besides vines? I’d like to see some variety.”
