Simon hadn't seen that technique coming. Many of the merchants on the ship didn't even truly process what he had said, and most of them were captured by his adorableness. He had hardly notice the glass bottle until the newest person had given it to him. SImon quickly opened it and read it's contents. He smiled at the handiwork accomplished by the little ninja boy, and with him being a big distraction it was far easier to take the ship by storm. Very few of the men on the ship hadn't been very affected by the panda-boy, and one of them had sliced at the newcomer. This was a signal for Simon, telling him that now was the time to take the ship. Simon quickly rushed at the ship, jumping up as high as he could to get to the main deck of the ship. Many of them men were still incapacitated by the boy, but the few who did had noticed Simon on the deck, and walked over to him. It was still a merchant's ship, and only one men had done anything to raise suspicion , which wasn't all that much, Simon added mentally. They came at him with curious intent, and walked up to him slowly and calmly. Before one of them had the chance to say anything to Simon, The young man lunged at the speaking merchant and hit him with much force. It wasn't bone shattering, but only just under that level of pain. His fist connected with the merchant's face, and Simon quickly stood up and over the merchant, no looking at all of the others. "I walk on taking your ship. If you don't want to face the same pain as your friend, maybe even more, then I suggest that you leave this ship behind." None of them back away, and the a few of the merchants pulled out swords. What kid was going to tell them tm to abandon their ship? Certainty not this one. Simon took a stance and slowed his breathing. he didn't have and devil fruit powers, but he could use a sword to an extent, and was deadly with his unarmed hands.
