Shannon - Auto Garage - James/Polyester/Daniel/Amelia "That's also a good idea," she replied to Daniel. "But a mall could be a goldmine." Her finger stopped on the paper and she tapped it in place. "Here. Clearview Mall. I think it would be worth to check out, at least." She waggled her eyebrows dramatically. "They have a Taaarget." Shannon turned around and leaned back on the desk. "I'm serious, looking in houses and convenience stores was getting me nowhere yesterday." It also got someone dead, but Shannon wasn't in the mood to start talking about that. In fact, she wanted to involve talking about anything serious at all, at least for a little while. She couldn't begin to imagine what Daniel was going through and she desperately wanted to avoid upsetting him. She never had any siblings of her own to draw any experience off of, but she remembered how fiercely Danny had loved his younger sister, Josie. Even after he became estranged from his parents, he would do whatever he could to meet and talk with his sister. Maybe it was partly to piss off his mother and father, but Danny had never went for long without taking time to talk with Josie. Shannon closed her eyes, trying to put Danny out of her mind. It was so hard to do, harder than with her other friends and even her own parents. She loved them all dearly, but her and Danny had a bond that they both knew would last until the day they died, and probably even beyond that. Their worlds had revolved around each other, and now her world was forever shattered.
