You might want to hold your assumptions about Sam until I write up his personality and history. He is one of Seven Rogue Naeri's, and is considered one of the best musicians in Enduwin, but his past is a bit shrouded and he's not actually very talkative in the normal sense, more over in the "I'll bite your fucking head off" category of talkative.
