Hmmm, while I feel that this roleplay has the potential to take off, it also had the potential to become an extremely god-modded roleplay as well. When you say "basing it off if video games", I'm assuming that you mean basing it off the bare essentials that has created the JRPG genre with probably turn-based battles? I guess my question would be: how much of this roleplay will be GM moderated, and how much will be character based? And in terms of plot, you could go two ways: the traditional "evil is taking over, we have to stop it" plot that is the staple of JRPGs, or you could bring this a completely different direction (although it'll probably be very similar to the former anyway. I personally can't think of anything that'll revolutionize JRPGs) I probably have some ideas in my mind, but I can't seem to recall them at the moment.
