His zanpakuto transformed into the shikai state, creating claws at the end of each of his fingers and toes. He growled slightly before charging at Kurisa. As he got closer, he swung one of his arms at his opponent, the other arm touching down on the ground to keep his mobility up. One of his legs followed after the arm, aiming to double the damage, or double the chance of hit.

Shiro

"Fight me at your full!?" a grin formed on Shiro's face as his Spiritual energy rose greatly whilst he slashed away at the Byakurai more so trying to use his Zanpakuto to change it's course "I guess I can take it seriously if that is the case" Shiro didn't seem to show much control at the moment but he was trying...more trying to contain his excitement as that always seemed to be the thing that made his Spiritual energy rise. Shiro then manifested spiritual energy in a physical form around his Zanpakuto then slashed at his Captain releasing a rather out of control arc of energy however it seemed more controlled then the ones he had used before...not by much but it showed he was trying to take this seriously

Kurisa

Kurisa watched as John activated his Zanpakuto then came at him preparing to strike him and Kurisa let him do so but when John hit Kurisa didn't move in the slightest..almost as if nothing hit him at all "Want to know why I told you that you could attack me? it's the difference in our power...Spiritual energy isn't just used for attacks...it's used for defense...it hardens the skin...and...if your opponents spiritual energy is much greater than your own...well...you can see the difference it makes" Kurisa then held out his right arm and extended his index finger then spoke "Hado 1..." he planned to just throw John back without causing any real harm but even the Kido would make it feel as if he got a hard punch. "Don't get angry that you cannot do damage to me...that isn't the point...I'm trying to view your skills and test their power. Said I was a Shinigami around your level that would have likely done damage...but as I'm a Shinigami far above your level the effects are nullified." Kurisa crossed his arms once more and waited for John to show him something else..
