Before Kacela was able to respond to her question, a guy with dark hair and blue eyes walked over to them and said hello before introducing himself as Matt. Like virtually everyone else over the age of seven, he was taller than Avery, though not quite as tall as Kacela. Surprisingly enough, the first question he asked didn't somehow involve her size or age. A little dumbfounded, though skeptical of the thought that he knew she wasn't a little kid, Avery took her hand out of her pocket, releasing her id card in the process. “I-I'm good at art, especially p-paintings and drawings, and I like the outdoors,” Avery responded, her timidity around new people still present, but diminished by the confidence that resulted from being around people that she knew. “So, of course I-I signed up for th-those clubs. What clubs did y-you sign up for?” She was definitely surprised that she had already met two people who seemed to be rather friendly. It was... comforting in a way. At least, it was when she ignored the fact that having more friends made the chance of her getting found out more likely.
