Zombehs: you've definitely got the right idea, yeah! all the examples you've listed would qualify. the Talismans are quite variable. It could be anything from a very eye-catching gem, to something like that boring spoon you've mentioned. however, let's say the owner of that rusty spoon talisman decided to smelt it down. the talisman can't be destroyed, but it could be smelted into a different shape. maybe it becomes a metal emblem, which would be decidedly more fancy. Mistress Dizzy: stealing talismans and killing their owners is a definite risk. it's ultimately up to the user to balance out mundanity and flash, as well as secure the safety of their talisman. generally, if you're in a Guild, everyone will naturally assume you have a Talisman. however, being in a well-known Guild might make you less likely to be mugged or killed, for fear of retaliation. if it's a very recognizable Talisman that is stolen from the owner, someone could immediately recognize it and infer that it was stolen, too. there will hopefully be a ton of dynamics to it all!
