Don't know, I don't cover Electromancy. However both of them are still novices in terms of magical ability, with only a limited grasp of their powers. Don't worry, everyone is around the same level. As for what she gets with Coco, a friend maybe? That has it's own benefits, though not really anything I could really list out. If that's all Alaria did, no extra classes, than I can't imagine what other benefits she got over the months aside from maybe character development.
