Hey Free, Coco's a valuable ally, if only for the fact that she gets around AND is able to tap into a huge vault of memories and experiences. If you need to know how to kill a kind of beast, there probably is a memory of it in the Tree (With the GMs approval of course. And with the exception of the Syphis.) 

Otherwise, I imagine Coco and Alaira's training as something of two-three hours in the morning before classes. After that you have a whole afternoon for other things :p
