Appearance: 186 CM, 79 KG. Sam is tall and athletic. He spends a lot of time exercising. Usually swimming, hence the toned body. His hair is a dirty blonde, he's got brown eyes. He usually sports simple jeans and a high-collared Leather jacket in a single color. He never wears hairgel, but keeps his hair natural. Abilities: Jet Propulsion: Sam is able to use his bio-energy to expel force from his body. Thermal energy, actually. This energy is used as thrust to cause his body to be propelled through the air like a rocket, at great heights and speeds with considerable maneuverability. He can control his speed and direction through sheer act of will. It does allow him to for now only 'dash', as he can only use his ability in bursts, and not for actual flight. It obviously allows him to leap very tall whenever used, leaving a blue streak behind. The force in which he can 'dash' is so great it allows him to destroy things by flying into them. His main way of attacking is by charging into things. Durability While dashing. Sam get's a power field around himself that protects him from any kind of recoil from his power. Sam gets super-endurance. His body tightens up, making his body both denser, and nigh-unstoppable. Very little can stop him when he's charging at something. However, the faster Sam charges, the more "tunnel vision" the young man suffers. And due to the fact that he is almost unstoppable, his powers can cause incredibly amounts of damage to things, as was made obvious by that time he collapsed an entire building by charging into a wall. Skills: Boxing: Certainly not Muhammad Ali, but he's a decently skilled boxer and wrestler. He's a decent driver. He's a great athlete. Not the brightest tool in the shed, but he still holds a natural level of Charisma. Personality Traits: Honest, Hard-Working, lacking self-preservation, thoughtful. Backstory: Born and raised in Tennessee, his life was rather simple. His dad was a farmer, and his mother was a housewife. He had 7 siblings, which weren't really considered that many. He's the second oldest ,his older brother, Michael is a year and a half older than Samuel. Samuel grew up as you'd expect. He was taught to work hard for everything he wanted, and so he did. He rarely got into trouble, and was always a pretty good kid. Spent his days player or throwing football. Sam always wanted to be as good as his big-brother was. He started playing Football to impress Michael, he dressed and tried to act like his big-brother, just like siblings do. And when he got into his teens, the war started. At the age of 15 Sam joined the army, simply because Michael did. He was a pretty well built kid, due to the working on the farm and the football playing. The war hadn't influenced the states just yet, since this was still 1939. But the local recruiting center wanted to be ready. He spent a year and a half in training, being well prepared for action. They weren't sent to D-day, or to fight in Japan, no. They were sent to fight in France, push the Germans back in 1942. The battling went as one would've expected, it changed Sam. Not that he ever shot someone ,but Michael did. Sam was the only guy in their squad who didn't fire a single bullet through the entire siege, that took 4 weeks. He was in the army for two more years, still not fired a shot. He was known as "Full Clip Sam." by his unit-mates. But that all changed when they went deeper into Germany in 44. Their squad got ambushed. Nine SS-Soldiers dashed at them, killing two of Sam's squadmates, and wounding his brother, shooting his left eye out. They fought the Nazis off, and Sam's unit took pursuit. Four of them chased them down. They split up, and Sam got ambushed. A SS-soldier spewing German to him, hit him in the face, and then sat on his chest, as he drew his knife, about to stab Sam. Sam didn't think, he let out a roar as he pushed the man off of himself, went for the handgun in his belt, and pushed the gun into the man's face, into his eye-socket, where he fired the gun, blood and brain-substance staining the grass of that spring. Sam did later on get shot in leg, during a battle involving tanks. That was when his powers kicked in. A friend of his was in danger, and Sam came running, despite the bullet in his leg. He dashed, and in a streak of blue he rammed the tank that had aim on his friend. Sam knocked the tank onto it's side, knocking it out of comission. Sam broke three ribs in the charge, and was sent home to America. The war ended four months later, spending another year home, trying to hone his powers, he was approached by two men. Men who had known about the war, fought in it. Along side the states greatest hero, too. Captain America. Their names were Charles and Erik, and they shoved Sam that there was a world of people like him, yet, very, very different, and they wanted him to join them. He did, and so he moved to New York. working as a bartender at a local bar, when he's not honing his powers with Charles and Erik.
