Name: Dasmira Oratonis Age/Race/Gender: 20/Human/Female Profession: Thief

Armor/Clothing: Dasmira wears simple black trousers with a gypsy coin skirt wrapped around her waist with most of the coins missing. She adorns a loose white cotton shirt with bishop sleeves and lace strings to tie it up at the top. Over this she wears a simple blue corset. Dasmira prefers to leave her hair don and always keeps a black cloak on hand for thieving purposes. Weaponry: Dasmira’s main weapon is a trident, but she also uses a rope dart. She is very flexible and fast, but when she cannot confront her opponent head on, she uses the rope dart to obtain them. Other Items: She has tons of expensive jewelry that she obtained from her victims. Skills: Dasmira is an expert liar and is sly with schemes to get what she wants. She is nimble, flexible, and fast with a proficiency in handling her trident (tridentmanship?) and rope dart. She has almost no strength and is quite small compared to most warriors, female or not. She is adept at lock picking, pick pocketing, and stealing in general. Abilities: No magic. Personality/Goals: Dasmira is a greedy woman with a love for shiny things. She is ambitious and is determined to get what she wants, especially at the expense of others. Trickery and manipulation is her main way of obtaining items, often portraying herself as weak, innocent girl in need of help. The blonde uses an innocent, anxious façade among strangers, but she secretly enjoys the misery of others. Because she is self-conscious, she likes to fool others to make herself feel superior. She has no certain goals except for getting as much money as she possibly can. Selfish, cowardly, and alone are the three words that most describe Dasmira. However, she does have her good points. Dasmira is knowledgeable, independent, and open-minded. History: The large city of Baress was known for its vast markets and humongous population. It was also known for the many families suffering in poverty. Ten years before Dasmira was born, Baress’s economy failed and the citizens entered a depressing time. Food was short, jobs were scarce, and water was dirtied. Dasmira’s parents, Jenima Roanoke and Hendell Oratonis, met during this period. They met on the streets while one was begging for food and the other was on his way to work. Hendell was a kind man and, seeing Jenima clutching onto the skirts of passersby, offered her the only coin he had in his possession. Jenima was a strong woman who refused to be in debt and accepted the change with reluctance. While Hendell went on with life and forgot all about Jenima, the other tried valiantly to raise enough money to give back. It took awhile, but she finally did with odd jobs and unimpressive work. It was this meeting that they actually considered each other and Hendell fell in love. The romance goes on, as romance does, but tragedy struck when Hendell lost his job due to spending too much time with his now pregnant wife. When Dasmira was born, the city was finally getting back on its feet and people were slowly building their lives up once again; all but the Oratonis family. Hendell had grown sick and they were starving, poor, and in bad health in general. It didn’t take long for Hendell to pass. Dasmira grew up, begging now rich citizens for food and money, but receiving none. It didn’t take long for the girl to involve herself in illegal activities, especially when Jenima was showing signs of malnourishment. With the stolen goods, the young girl could afford food for her mother. When Jenima was well enough to go back to work, Dasmira was too far gone to stop. She had developed an obsession with stealing and she wanted it all. It was addicting, the thrilling pulse in her vein whilst her hand clutched onto stolen earrings, and the shimmering of the extravagant. At the age of eighteen, Baress no longer had anything to offer her and so Dasmira departed her dear mother to the outside world. She wanted bigger treasures! And so her tale begins…
