With Sarah clutching his shirt and pressing his face into her collarbone, Simon gently rested his his on top of hers and listened to hear heavy breathing and occasional hiccup. His breathing was slow and calm, his mind trying to sort out what to say and what not to say as he sat there for her comfort.
