I try and pull the girls away from Derek and his prey.
"Don't worry girls, he won't hurt them. If my guess is right, and it usually is, he is just showing them who is boss."
I grin at the two boys stuck between Derek and the lockers.
"As long as they don't do or say anything stupid right now I bet they'll get off without any permanent damage. That's a hint guys, apologize."
